PIANO EVERY DAY – STUDIO POLICY (SKEDULIN APP Roll-out)
Revised April 16th, 2026
Welcome to Piano Every Day! This policy has been updated to incorporate the SKEDULIN app, helping keep lessons running smoothly and making scheduling and communication as simple and clear as possible for everyone.
Two lesson options are available:
STANDARD PLAN (Reserved Weekly Time)
FLEXIBLE PLAN (Book-As-You-Go)
SKEDULIN is the central place for:
All students are required to use SKEDULIN for scheduling. This helps keep the calendar accurate and ensures fairness for all students.
Payments may be made:
Lessons are considered confirmed only when they are both scheduled in SKEDULIN and payment has been received.
Students on the Standard Plan reserve a consistent weekly lesson time.
The number of lessons in a month may vary slightly depending on the calendar. SKEDULIN will always reflect the correct number of scheduled lessons.
The Flexible Plan is ideal for students who prefer occasional lessons.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so through SKEDULIN.
Rescheduling fees are due when the lesson is rescheduled in the SKEDULIN app.
Make-up lessons are offered as a courtesy and are based on availability.
If a make-up lesson is missed or canceled late, an additional rescheduling fee will apply.
If I need to cancel, I will reschedule the lesson at a mutually convenient time or provide a full refund.
To keep everything running smoothly, payments are expected on time.
A $5 late fee will be added if payment is not received on time.
If a balance remains unpaid, lesson scheduling may be paused, and reserved lesson times may be released until the account is up to date.
SKEDULIN is the home base for all lesson scheduling.
Lessons not scheduled through SKEDULIN cannot be guaranteed and may not be eligible for rescheduling or make-ups.
If you plan to discontinue lessons, please:
Lessons will still take place on:
Labor Day, Columbus Day, Memorial Day, Halloween, Election Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Presidents’ Day
Lessons will not take place during:
Thanksgiving Week
Additional breaks will be posted in SKEDULIN.
Tuition may be adjusted periodically (typically by semester) to reflect changes in costs.
Please check SKEDULIN and email regularly for updates, scheduling changes, and studio news.
Enrollment in lessons indicates agreement with this studio policy and the use of SKEDULIN for scheduling.
Thank you for being part of Piano Every Day—I look forward to making music together!
Helpful hints for online lessons: 1) Keep your camera steady with a side view of the keys. Some people prop up the cameras in clever ways using shoes, or stands made of Legos! 2) Position the camera slightly higher than the student's head so that the keys and the student's hands are visible from above. 3) Call Mrs. Farrell on FaceTime (678-836-6087) or Skype (natalefarrell2016). 4) Natale can organize Zoom meetings, too. 5) Have a pencil nearby. 6) Use sticky tabs to mark the assigned Homework. 7) Have all the sheet music already printed out and in a binder for easy access. 8) Get a binder that can fold backward so it stands up easily on the piano. (Kroger sells the Avery Brand 1.5-inch rings.) 9) If a parent can be around for the first few lessons, that would be helpful. 10) Usually, only one person can talk and play at a time, so it's essential to listen carefully when the teacher is talking. 11) It's best to ensure the device used to call in doesn't have any other apps open, as this can slow down the internet. If the lesson gets disconnected, please call back. 12) If using Zoom, put the setting to Original Sound. 13) MOST IMPORTANTLY: Any background sounds get amplified over to the teacher's device, making it impossible for the student and teacher to hear. Please have other family members and dogs be quiet during lessons.
