1) Two payment plans are available: the Standard and Flexible plans (30 minutes at $40, 45 minutes at $60, and 60 minutes at $85). Additionally, there are Flexible One-Hour Lessons at $90. You can make a payment by check, cash, or online through Venmo (@Natale-Farrell), PayPal (pianonatale@gmail.com; fees may apply), or Zelle (free) at natalefarrell@gmail.com.
2) For the STANDARD plan, all lessons must be paid on the FIRST DAY of each month (ex., Jan. 1st). The STANDARD PLAN means you reserve a spot on Natale's calendar for a specific day and time that is yours unless you cancel. If you cancel, that slot might be given away for that day and time to another student for a make-up class only. Usually, there are four lessons a month, but the number of lessons per month can vary due to the calendar and any scheduled days off. Please check the Live Calendar to count the number of lessons that month. https://docs.google.com/document/d/18hVrtniiRytFwVKB8pqDaoJHaobRvyxaBv4_exJ2vWc/edit?usp=sharing
3) For the FLEXIBLE plan, students pay the day before coming using an online payment platform. The FLEXIBLE PLAN is for students who only want to go occasionally, when an agreed-upon time is available for both Natale and the student.
4) Please email or text 24 hours in advance to cancel a lesson. If you cancel formally, there is no refund. However, the student can reschedule for another time, based on availability, for a $5 fee. Students must pay the fee before the make-up lesson takes place.
5) If a cancellation is made formally (by email or text) on the same day as a scheduled lesson, no refund will be given. Still, the student can reschedule for another time, based on availability, for a $10 fee. Students must pay the fee before the make-up lesson takes place.
6) “No-show” lessons cannot be refunded. Also, if a student cancels their make-up lesson at the last minute, they still must pay the first fee and then reschedule again for a second fee.
7) Make-up lessons must be made up within each semester (Ex, Fall Semester, Spring Semester, Summer Semester). Makeups may be available during breaks or when another student cancels. See the website calendar for availability where a "NO----" is placed in front of a student's name. https://pianoeveryday.com/calendar
8) Natale will reschedule her cancellations as soon as possible or refund the lesson.
9) Students who decide to stop taking lessons should wait until the end of the month. Please send a courtesy call, email, or text stating that the student wishes to discontinue lessons.
10) Lessons still occur on Labor Day, Columbus Day, Memorial Day, Halloween, Election Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Presidents’ Day.
11) No Lessons will occur on Thanksgiving Week, Winter Break, and Spring Break (Fulton County Schools).
12) Prices may increase with inflation on a Semester basis. I recently increased my prices for the Fall 2024 semester.
13) Parents or students are responsible for reading all emails from pianonatale@gmail.com to keep updated on the happenings in Natale's Piano Studio, Piano Every Day.
In the future, there will be a Mobile App, SKEDULIN, that students can use to schedule and pay for lessons, reschedule, request make-up lessons, or schedule other appointments. It will be free for students to use.

Helpful hints for online lessons: 1) Keep your camera steady with a side view of the keys. Some people prop up the cameras in clever ways using shoes, or stands made of Legos! 2) Position the camera slightly higher than the student's head so that the keys and the student's hands are visible from above. 3) Call Mrs. Farrell on FaceTime (678-836-6087) or Skype (natalefarrell2016). 4) Natale can organize Zoom meetings, too. 5) Have a pencil nearby. 6) Use sticky tabs to mark the assigned Homework. 7) Have all the sheet music already printed out and in a binder for easy access. 8) Get a binder that can fold backward so it stands up easily on the piano. (Kroger sells the Avery Brand 1.5-inch rings.) 9) If a parent can be around for the first few lessons, that would be helpful. 10) Usually, only one person can talk and play at a time, so it's essential to listen carefully when the teacher is talking. 11) It's best to ensure the device used to call in doesn't have any other apps open, as this can slow down the internet. If the lesson gets disconnected, just call back. 12) If using Zoom, put the setting to Original Sound. 13) MOST IMPORTANTLY: Any background sounds get amplified over to the teacher's device, making it impossible for the student and teacher to hear. Please have other family members and dogs be quiet during lessons.
