Never fear! Doggie is here to keep you safe on Halloween night! A song in D minor that teaches hands together, staccato and legato, and chords in fifths intervals.

Weeping Willow by Natale is a beautiful, melancholy, advanced beginner's teaching piece. Students learn various "spread" chords ex) Low C G Middle C and can add the pedal to create a wonderful sustained sound.  There are three versions of this song based on note-reading ability and hand size!  Choose the best one for your student.  Students can also start learning the easiest version first and work up to the advanced one! 

Yikes! What was that?  I think I just saw a scary ghost!  Here is a witty Halloween song in 2/4 time about seeing a ghost!  Written in F minor, this three page song is meant for advance beginners. All the accidentals are written in the piece to help students play in this difficult key. 

This a pretty scary sounding song! Both hands are written in the bass clef for deep tones that ring ominously. Pedal is used carefully against the melody. The song is in A minor and is for advanced beginners. There are TWO versions of this song.  Version one uses hand crossing the entire piece and Version two uses the middle sustenuto pedal throughout.

This is a short fun piece that is popular with my students.  Written in C minor with all the accidentals notated, Treasure Chest is composed using the three chord progressions, C minor, G7 and F minor
to create a quick, lively pirate ditty. 

Halloween Hop is a one-paged piano piece which could be taught rote for early beginners or read for advanced students. The piece requires techniques such as staccato and arm-phrasing on both the black and white keys.  Notes are all over both piano staves and the dynamics range from piano to fortissimo.

ALL HALLOWS' EVE (2020) is a new, original Halloween composition by Natale Farrell. This is a piece that includes many components that will help students learn new skills to help them advance: eighth notes, octaves, triads, scales, big leaps in the bass clef, and 6/8 time. 

Blue Ghosts by Natale Farrell is a short intermediate Halloween blues piano piece. The piece is full of accidentals, chromatic movements and spooky scale passages. 

BOOGEYMAN BOOGIE is an Advanced Beginner's Piano Song that sounds fun and spooky at the same time! Don't forget to swing the eighth notes!

Christmas Morning is an original winter piece written in C major and in 6/8 time. The left-hand is written with easy-to-play I-V-I "spread" chords. This pretty piece is great for advanced beginners. Get it for only 25 cents! Merry Christmas! (Single License)

This song came to me like a tornado! I wrote it in about one hour! It's a fast and furious exciting song that my students love! It is written in G minor and is in 6/8 time. It is an early intermediate level piece.

The Troll Song is for beginning piano students. The song is written in Middle C position and uses Edvard Grieg's Hall of the Mountain King theme. Students can repeat the song in every octave in increasing tempi starting from the lowest range and the slowest tempo to the highest octave and the fastest speed. The lyrics are about different trolls that do different things at different speeds. The song introduces tempo markings like Largo, Adagio, Andante, Moderato, Allegro, Presto and Prestissimo.

SCHOOL IS OVER (In Memory of the COVID-19 Pandemic 2020)
Schools are out all over the world due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. This advanced beginner's piano piece reflects the sadness of not being able to finish out the academic school year, the elation of getting to stay home, and then again the sad realization of not getting to see friends, teachers, and graduation. STAY SAFE, STAY HOME, PLAY PIANO.

STAY is my latest piano composition. I wrote it with the sole purpose of writing a song with various time signatures.  I think it turned out OK, but I'd love to hear what you think!  I struggled with the title on this one! The word "Stay" has many personal meanings to me in my life right now, but the word is more obvious when you see a picture of a sitting dog with eyes that say "don't go!"! The picture was drawn by a neighbor named Isabella who is 11 years-old. 

THE LEMONADE STAND SONG  is a group of songs that tell the story of making lemonade, setting up a lemonade stand, waiting for customers, selling the first cup, waiting again for customers, and finally earning a pocket-full of money! My young piano students love to play and sing the words to this song!  Students learn musical form, various time signatures, chords and melodies in both the right and left hand. 

Four Pyramids is a song written for young beginners. The song has words that kids find fun to sing-a-long with. It starts out in an easy, familiar Middle C hand position to give students confidence. It then moves to a new hand osition where students get to play inner-ledger line notes and lower notes in the bass clef. It is in landscape format and is two pages in length.

BUE BIRD is a song written for beginners. Students play in Middle C hand position for most of the song.
Easy quarter notes, half notes, and dotted half-notes make up most of this song in 3/4 time, but the dotted-quarter note followed by an eighth note is introduced on the second page.

CALVARY is a favorite with my advanced beginners! It sounds impressive and difficult because it is played fast, but it can usually be taught in one lesson! 

Sailor's Jig is a FUN song!  My students love to play it because of the fun rhythms throughout.  You will get two different versions. One is with many clues to help students. Grandma's Animals is the first song I sing and play with my students during their first piano lesson. It's a duet, where the student learns to play the treble clef notes with either hand, while the teacher plays the bass and sings the words. It starts off by students knocking 6 times on the piano. The words of the song cue the student on which notes to play. The song is written with the picture of the piano keyboard and the two "houses"on the piano, in mind: The Dog House, and Grandma's House. Students learn the key names by relating the picture of the Cat, Dog, Elephant, Front door, Grandma, Attic, and Backdoor to the keys they play. It gets students playing on the very first day, and teaches a 6/8 rhythm, too!

Animals on the Loose is another piece written to teach students the letter names on the piano keyboard. It's fast paced and fun! Like Grandma's Animals, there is a lot of repetition and it also has lyrics that cue the student on what notes to play and when.

Both hands start in Middle C position, and later, the left hand shifts to low C position towards the end.
